On Thursday, October 29, 2026, NJCDC will proudly hold its 32nd Anniversary Gala at the Westmount Country Club in Woodland Park, New Jersey. Each year, our Gala brings together community leaders, supporters, and friends to celebrate the impact we’ve made together — and to raise critical funds that allow us to continue serving the more than 14,000 children and families in our neighborhood.
This year, we are delighted to honor Wellpoint, whose longstanding partnership has helped NJCDC create greater opportunities for young people and families throughout Paterson. Wellpoint has consistently demonstrated a commitment to strengthening our community and investing in those we serve, and we are proud to celebrate that partnership at this year’s Gala.
We are also proud to honor Paterson Police Department Officer in Charge Patrick Murray, whose life and career are deeply rooted in the city he serves. Born and raised in Paterson and following in his father’s footsteps as a second-generation police officer, OIC Murray has spent more than four decades working to make his hometown safer and stronger. His longstanding commitment to community collaboration and building stronger relationships between police and residents embodies the spirit of service we are proud to celebrate.

Guests will enjoy an evening of inspiration and celebration, beginning with a cocktail reception at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner and our program at 7:00 p.m., and concluding with dessert. The evening promises not only to be enjoyable, but also deeply meaningful as we come together to invest in a brighter future for our community.
