Each summer, NJCDC offers free programming to Paterson youth of all ages, with activities ranging from academic support to arts programs, community service activities, and more. Even though school is almost over, there’s still time to sign up to have fun, learn, and hang out with friends this summer!
Summer Youth Arts
Monday, July 8 to Friday, August 2, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
This four-week program is for youth entering Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Students will have fun exploring a variety of art forms, including drumming, dance, and arts and crafts.

Junior YouthBuild
Monday, July 8 to Friday, August 9, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm (including a one-hour lunch break)
Paterson youth ages 14-18 can help improve their community this summer — and get paid to do it! During this five-week program, youth will help clean up litter, plant gardens, and more to beautify Paterson. At the end of the program, teens will receive a stipend for their work.
Teens must apply by Friday, June 28 at 5:00 p.m.
