The Community Charter School of Paterson (CCSP) and College Achieve (Paterson) came together recently to host a complimentary screening of The Right to Read documentary at the Passaic Community College Auditorium. This award-winning film, produced by LeVar Burton, highlights the critical importance of literacy in our society.
Ce’Yann Irving, a mother of a 1-year-old daughter, pays $990 a month for a two-bedroom apartment on the site of a former dairy processing plant in the Central City neighborhood of New Orleans. She has amenities, like a 24-hour gym and an on-site community clinic, at arm’s reach.
On Feb. 7, the multidisciplinary real estate nonprofit research and education organization announced its 2024 Excellence Awards winners. The award in Affordable Housing will be presented to Barclay Place Apartments, developed by NJCDC in partnership with St. Joseph's Health and New Jersey Community Capital.
On Tuesday, January 9, Governor Phil Murphy will deliver the 2024 State of the State Address, outlining his vision for making life more affordable for more families and building upon the administration’s progress in establishing New Jersey as the best place to live, work, and raise a family. First Lady Tammy Murphy will be joined by several special guests, including Barclay Place resident Cristina Tone.
